Marblehead Arts Association Hours & Admission

The Marblehead Arts Association, located in the historic King Hooper Mansion, is open six days a week, year round, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas or during snow emergencies when the Marblehead schools are closed. We may also close the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Year’s.

Our summer hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 12–5pm, Thursday–Saturday, 10–5pm and Sunday, 12–5pm. Our winter hours are Tuesday–Friday, 12–5pm, Saturday 10–5pm and Sunday 12–5pm or by appointment.

Admission to the Mansion and galleries is free but we welcome donations. Many classes, art openings, concerts and lectures occur in the evenings.

Unfortunately, we are not handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs can get into the first floor galleries but there are no restrooms on the first floor.

Parking can be a challenge, but is usually available on the streets around us.
